How NuView Windows and Doors Came to Be
Starting Out in Stirling
NuView Windows and Doors started in Stirling with a straightforward belief: that customers deserved better than the high-pressure, jargon-heavy approach that had become the norm in the double glazing industry. Consequently, we built the business around the opposite principles – a proper showroom, honest pricing, and installations carried out by our own team rather than subcontractors.
As a result of that approach, the Stirling business grew steadily through recommendation and repeat custom. Customers told their neighbours, friends, and family – and those people came to us in turn. That kind of growth is slower than spending heavily on advertising, but it is far more meaningful.
Expanding to Glasgow
Opening the Glasgow showroom was the natural next step. Glasgow is a larger market with strong demand for quality windows and doors, and we felt confident we could bring the same approach that had worked so well in Stirling. Furthermore, having a physical showroom in the city meant that Glasgow customers could see the products properly before deciding – rather than relying on a salesperson’s word or a catalogue photograph.
The Glasgow showroom has been well received, and the business continues to grow. However, the priorities have not changed: good products, honest advice, and a team that takes pride in the standard of its work.

How much do new windows or doors cost?
Every home is different, so we give you a precise, fixed quote after measuring – not a vague ballpark. Composite doors start from around £1,450 fitted. The best way to get an accurate figure is a free showroom visit or home survey, with no obligation to go ahead.
Do you use your own fitters or subcontractors?
Our own dedicated fitters carry out every installation – uniformed, in NuView-branded vans, never a marketplace subcontractor. Because the same company measures, supplies and fits, there is one point of contact and full accountability from first visit to final sign-off.
How long does an installation take?
Most home installations are completed within one to three days, depending on the number of windows and doors. We give you a clear timescale with your quote, and our fitters tidy up and walk you through everything before they leave.
What guarantee comes with your windows and doors?
Our products come with a 10 year guarantee, backed by both NuView and the manufacturer. The frames are built to last decades with minimal maintenance.

We offer consistency, not sales. There’s no right time of year to buy from us and no wrong one – no countdown discounts, no seasonal urgency, no price that mysteriously drops for one weekend only. You pay the same fair, considered price as your neighbour did, whenever they bought. One honest price, every time, for everyone.
How can I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express. We don’t offer finance – our focus is on giving you a fair price rather than tying you into a payment plan.
Do your installations meet building regulations?
Every installation meets current Scottish Building Regulations, fitted to the required standards for energy efficiency, safety glazing and secure locking – so your home stays compliant as well as warm and secure.
Which areas do you cover?
We fit windows and doors for homes across central Scotland, typically within a 30 to 40 mile radius of our Glasgow and Stirling showrooms. If you’re not sure whether we reach you, give us a call and we’ll let you know.
Can I see the products before I buy?
Yes, and we recommend it. Our Glasgow and Stirling showrooms have the full range on display so you can compare styles, colours, glazing and hardware in person – no appointment needed, and no pressure to buy.
