Cookie Policy
How NuView uses cookies and how to manage your preferences
Last updated: 23 May 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and (for marketing cookies) show you relevant ads.
We use both:
- First-party cookies – set by nu-view.co.uk directly.
- Third-party cookies – set by services we use, like Google or Meta.
We also use similar technologies such as tracking pixels (most notably the Meta Pixel) and browser storage (localStorage). Where we say “cookies” in this policy, we mean all of these unless we specify otherwise.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
These cookies are essential for the website to work and cannot be turned off. They don’t store any personally identifiable information.
Analytics cookies (require your consent)
These help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. We can’t identify you personally from this data.
Google Privacy Policy • How Google uses cookies
Advertising cookies (require your consent)
These help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show you relevant ads on other websites and platforms.

3. How we ask for your consent
The first time you visit our website, you’ll see a cookie banner asking which categories of cookies you’re happy to accept. You can:
- Accept all – allow all cookies.
- Reject all (non-essential) – only strictly necessary cookies will be set.
- Customise – choose which categories to accept.
We respect your choice and won’t load analytics, advertising or marketing cookies until you’ve given consent.
4. Changing your mind
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page on our website.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings – though this may affect how the site works:
To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
To opt out of Meta’s interest-based advertising: adssettings.facebook.com
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is currently no agreed standard for how websites respond to DNT signals. We respond to your choices through our cookie banner, not through DNT.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our cookie use changes (for example if we add or remove third-party services). The current version will always be on this page with the date at the top.
7. More information
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
